Whilst we specialise in the design and installation of architectural and structural steel, our service can be completed with all types of products, and we welcome customers who desire to utilise just one of our services as warmly as those who take advantage of them all.

Design
Our CAD/CAM design services are led by our experienced in-house team of draughtsmen, and are available to customers at all stages of their project. Whether you approach us with simply a concept or a problem, or a complete architect’s design, our design team works to produce manufacture drawings which stay true to the project requirements.
Mercia’s draughtsmen are supported by numerous qualifications and many years of experience designing a range of products, enabling them to achieve this.
We can further provide a site survey to obtain accurate measurements for your structural and architectural applications.
We utilise AutoCAD, Tekla and Solidworks for our design services.
Installation
Mercia provides a full supply and fit service. Our installation service for architectural and structural work is carried out by our team of in-house fitters, who are happy to take on all sized projects throughout the nation.
Mercia’s installation team have a wealth of experience and hold PASMA, CSCS, IPAF, and SMSTS certifications to carry out all types of installation jobs safely and efficiently on site.
PASMA - Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association. This certification ensures our team can work safely on mobile access towers.
CSCS - Construction Skills Certification Scheme. Demonstrating the Mercia team can work safely and to the required standards whilst on site.
IPAF - International Powered Access Federation. Our team holds the appropriate certification to operate mobile elevated platforms.
SMSTS - Site Management Safety Training Scheme. Our installation manager holds SMSTS to properly oversee that our onsite teams are performing safely and to the required legislations.
